Making your breakfast healthy, tasty and easy with a smoothie. by Aakanksha Bajpai
Smoothies could be a great way to start off your day. They are healthy, nutritious, filling and the easiest to make for your breakfast. As they are made of fruits and leafy vegetables, smoothies provide you with good carbs and protein.
Although please make sure that you get fruits and not just add fruit juices into the blender. Also make sure to measure your sugar intake in proportion with the smoothie. Here is the recipe:
Assemble these ingredients: One banana, half cup sliced strawberries and blueberries, one fourth cup plain greek yoghurt, one tablespoon almond butter, half cup baby spinach, half cup unsweetened almond milk. You can also get one or two basil leaves for serving purposes. Now blend all the ingredients and pour the smoothie in your glass.
If the smoothie is still too thick for your liking, you can thin it out by adding a little more of almond milk.
